Official Contest Rules

The Prize(s)

One gas furnace installed at winner’s privately-owned residential home. Does not include air conditioner, air handler, ductwork, or IAQ products.

Contest Dates
Submissions will be accepted starting October 1, 2023 at 9:00AM EST through October 28, 2023 at 11:59PM EST. The winner will be announced on October 28, 2022.

Contest Sponsors

Clay’s Climate Control, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies will conduct contests substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:

To Qualify as A Contestant 

Contestants must be 18 years of age or older, proof of age and valid driver’s license or state issued ID required. Must be a resident of Atlantic County, NJ; Cape May County, NJ; or Southern Ocean County, NJ. Must be a licensed first responder which is defined for the purposes of this contest as any occupation where someone is designated or trained to respond to an emergency. Example: a person (such as a police officer, firefighter or EMT) who is among those responsible for going immediately to the scene of an accident or emergency to provide assistance. 

How to enter

Nominations will be accepted online through the Clay’s Climate Control website (www.claysclimatecontrol.com). The winner is chosen by the most outstanding nomination determined by the judge and will be notified by email or phone. No purchase necessary.

How to Win

The winner will be chosen at random, chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. No purchase necessary. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PRIZES ARE IN THE WINNER’S NAME ONLY.

Restrictions/Requirements/Conditions/Disqualifications

• Clay’s Climate Control, or other participating sponsors, their agencies, agents, assigns, clients and immediate families are not eligible to enter.  The term immediate family includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws”, or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s) adoption, cohabitation or other family extension and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

• One winner per household. Must be 18 years or older to win.

• Must claim prize by calling 609-380-7330.
• Prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and not exchangeable for any other prize. Prize must be redeemed 30 days after notification or by event date. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, Clay’s Climate Control reserves the right to determine an alternate winner.

Taxes/Fees/Other Expenses

All federal, state and/or local laws, rules and regulations apply.  The winner may be required to sign Company release and disclaimer forms in addition to Federal Tax Form W9.  Once accepted, prizes cannot be revoked/returned by the winner to avoid tax obligation. Some or all taxes, fees and personal purchases may not be included and, as such, are the responsibility of the winner and cannot be credited for cash value.

Rights of Use

Company has all legal rights in the submitted entries, including but not limited to all trademark, copyright, patent or other intellectual property rights.  Submission of any entry gives Company the right to modify, edit, publish or otherwise change or exploit the content and images, contained in any and all related materials in any manner whatsoever. By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant Company exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.

Conduct and Decisions

By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Company personnel.  Persons who violate any rule gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.  Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited.  The Company will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Company’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.  If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Company, the Company reserves the right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Company deems appropriate.  All decisions will be made by the Company and are final.  The Company may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.  ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
